ECO3 (formerly Agfa Offset Solutions) is a leading global supplier of prepress systems to the printing industry. Commercial, newspaper, and packaging printers rely on us for the most extensive range of integrated solutions, from printing plates and computer-to-plate systems over workflow and print management software to pressroom chemicals. Our solutions are designed to deliver higher productivity, lower costs, and greener outcomes at every stage of the print process. You Print. We Care. ECO3 gifted a forest to Tag, who turns big ideas into high-impact marketing, and works with leading brands and agencies to deliver content at speed and scale across channels, cultures, and regions. With intelligent, sustainable, and technology-driven solutions at the heart of everything they do, they enable brands to operate more efficiently and effectively to stand out, sell more and waste less. Every decision at Tag is made in consideration of the clients, the people, the planet, and the communities. With 2,700 experts in 29 countries across the world, their distributed hub model has allowed them to be the always-on, end-to-end production partner of choice for over half a century.
The ECO3 & tag forests are part of the restoration project on the Categeró Farm which comprises an area of 0,38 hectares and is part of a larger project. In the project, 730 trees of 63 different tree species are planted. Now, maintenance activities (control of invasive grasses, replanting, and watering) are being carried out. The area significantly expands a key forest remnant for the conservation of the black-lion-tamarin and initiates the establishment of a large corridor aiming to connect very important gallery forests, ultimately, facilitating wildlife flux to the Morro do Diabo State Park
This project also generated economic impact. Regarding the employment of the local communities, we can share the following figures:
- The service contracts with local associations generated approximately U$ 1,520 of local income;
- The production agreements with local associations and families leading the nursery operations, generated approximately U$ 620 of local income.
