Between March and April 2026, community members planted 512 new trees across three communities in the Gran Chaco (Territorios Originarios Wichi, Quebracho and Oka Puckie), supported by Go Forest clients and organized by our local technical partner, Alianza Wichi. The tree nursery work and planting were carried out by the communities themselves, with 36 people involved, 16 men and 20 women, across the different territories.
As part of the agroforestry project, species planted include white carob, white leadtree, curupay, mistol, urunday, samu'u, avocado, annatto, papaya, banana, citrus, and mango.
