Sarah visits two-year old agroforestry trees in Madagascar 🇲🇬

Our colleague Sarah is currently on a field trip in Madagascar. Last week, she visited the Akamasoa agroforestry project we’ve been working on for the past years: an inspiring moment, as she got to witness the growth of the trees (planted in 2023) firsthand.

Seeing the progress up close is a powerful reminder of why agroforestry matters so much, especially in regions where poverty is widespread. By combining agriculture with tree cultivation, agroforestry improves soil quality, increases biodiversity, and provides long-term income sources for local communities. It’s a beautiful example of how environmental and social impact can go hand in hand.
