Our agroforestry plot in Ingung Kapia is growing. Literally!

We are thrilled to share that our 11-hectare agroforestry plot in Ingung Kapia is making great progress. With 7 out of 11 hectares already sponsored, we are well on our way to our goal of getting the full plot funded. In this project, shade-grown coffee plants are cultivated alongside native reforestation tree species: a system that restores the forest, protects the soil, and creates a sustainable source of income for local families. And we have some exciting news: the very first coffee beans are beginning to appear on a number of plants! Seeing these first Arabica beans is a wonderful milestone. It's proof that the seeds we planted in 2023 are now starting to bear fruit, in the most literal sense.

Want to help us fund the remaining 5 hectares? Every contribution brings us one step closer to a fully thriving forest and a sustainable future for the local communities in Congo.
