We are expanding our agroforestry work with our technical partner in Madagascar. Go Forest now supports a new area in Ambanja, in the northern DIANA region, made up of several agroforestry plots. Working with our technical partner Bôndy, we support the development of locally adapted agroforestry systems, combining cash crops like cocoa and coffee with forest and fruit trees that restore soil health and biodiversity while opening new income opportunities for local farmers.

Behind every tree planted is a nursery, and behind every nursery are the people who make it work. We would like to share a testimonal of Eulalie Opportune Soamazava, who prepares seedlings at the Ambanja nursery:

"Before working in the nursery, I didn't realize how important trees could be in our daily lives. Today, I understand that everything starts here, from the seed. My work consists of preparing the seedlings, selecting seeds, monitoring germination, watering, and ensuring their growth. It is a regular job that requires care and attention, but it is also very rewarding. When I see the plants leaving the nursery to be planted in the fields, I know I have contributed to something tangible. As a mother, this means a lot to me. This work allows me to support my family, but also to pass on a different vision of the land to my children. They see that it is possible to produce while taking care of our environment. With this project, we are not just planting trees. We are learning, working, and building something that will last over time."
