The rainy season has arrived in our reforestation zones in the DRC, marking the start of new tree planting activities. The forests in Idiofa also saw a remarkable caterpillar season: thousands of children and women collected these protein-rich delicacies to sell at local markets, helping families cover school fees while protecting forest foliage. A beautiful example of how reforestation restores both ecosystems and livelihoods.
