This year's capacity for the direct seeding project in Brazil

Atlantic Forest in Bahia state, Brazil
4/16/2025

The restoration of forest corridors in Brazil’s Atlantic Forest remains critically urgent. Once one of the most biodiverse regions on the planet, the biome has been reduced to a fraction of its original size, leaving fragmented ecosystems and isolated wildlife populations. Connecting these remnants through reforestation is essential to restoring ecological function, enhancing biodiversity, and building climate resilience.

In this context, we are able to plant 623 hectares of forest in 2025! We could still expand it, depending on when new projects are signed. Overall, we would say that, if we plan ahead, we are able to plant about 200 more hectares this year, especially if we work with mechanized direct seeding.

Stakeholders interested in contributing to this year’s reforestation goals are encouraged to reach out early, as timely project alignment will allow us to maximize our planting capacity and impact 🙌🌿
