With the new year underway, we’re excited to share some uplifting ecological impact from our partner on the ground. In the Idiofa project site, biodiversity is thriving at an impressive pace. Field teams now regularly encounter darting antelopes, playful squirrels and even the elusive pangolin.
The skies are equally lively: the palm-nut vulture, the African hawk-eagle and the striking Turaco are among the many bird species making their presence known.
And as a seasonal highlight, this past November once again brought the annual mushroom harvest — a reminder of the rich and regenerating ecosystem taking shape.
